Before class work -1-

Photoshop montage skill - By adding layers, adjusting colors and using different techniques, my basic model stands on a suitable background and become part of it. The balance on the shadow and composition adds realistic to the overall effect of the image.

Bank of China Tower (HK) - Designed by Ieoh Ming Pei  and it was the tallest building in HK and Asian from 1989 to 1992. This architecture is covered by glass curtain walls and the whole structure is supported by the five steel columns at the corner of the building. It has labels of "X" shape on each outward facing side. Under the sunshine, the glass wall reflect the the sky and presents as a "blue" building. When comes to night, the building becomes very colorful as the surrounding building turns on various color of lights.

Reading between the lines - designed by Gijs Van Vaerenbergh. The church is made of 100 layers and 2000 columns of steel. The views have various perspective whether the church is perceived as a massive building or seems as to be dissolve in the landscape. The use of horizontal plates enables the church become a transparent object under the sunset.
